Accident Investigation & Re-creation Specialist

Since 1956, Worley has been actively investigating and reconstructing all types of traffic accidents. First working for the Dallas Police Depart ment, he qualified as an expert witness in determining the speed of skidmarks in 1956. Worley later served with the Covina Police Department, the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department and the California Highway Patrol. As a California Highway Patrol officer, Worley ascended through the ranks to become a Captain and Area Commander in 1972, a position which he held until his retirement in 1985.

Worley gained a significant portion of his technical knowledge through his law enforcement training as well as concentrated study at several noted colleges and universities. Worley graduated from Mount San Antonio College in 1970, and subsequently eamed his B.A. and M.S. degrees from the University of La Verne. He has since continued his studies at Northwestern University's Traffic Institute, University of North Florida's Institute of Police Technology and Management, and the University of Michigan.

Worley possesses full-time teaching credentials from the California State Board of Education, and teaches Accident Reconstruction, Skidmark Analysis and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement at Rio Rondo Community College. He has further shared his expertise by teaching at Chaffey, Citrus, Mount San Antonio and Imperial Valley Community Colleges. He has also taught at the California Highway Patrol Academy, presented programs to the El Centro and Pomona Police Departments and to the Southern California Rapid Transit District.

Worley maintains active membership in several professional organizations including the Society of Accident Reconstructionists (SOAR) and the Southwestern Association of Accident Investigators (SATAl).
