Texas Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists

TAARS was organized in 1986 as an organization dedicated to advancing Research, Knowledge, Education and Safety in the field of accident reconstruction. TAARS is a broad based organization with members from many different fields, including law enforcement, private investigators, engineers and attorneys. TAARS has a current membership of over 220 members.

TAARS awards two (2) Emmett R. Williams Memorial Scholarships annually so deserving individuals can attend a recognized Collision Reconstruction Course. TAARS will reimburse up to $750.00 for tuition toward each of the two scholarships. Please contact a TAARS' Charter or Regular Member to nominate someone for this scholarship.

TAARS is also providing The Conrad Dippel Continuing Education Scholarship to members who have Charter and Regular Member status. The scholarship is funded by private donations and matching funds from TAARS. Click here for complete scholarship guidelines.
