ARC -CSI Crash Conference 2007 - June4-7, 2007
The 2007 ARC-CSI Crash Conference was attended by more than 250 professionals from around the world. The conference featured four fully instrumented and documented crash tests at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and 15 industry experts spoke on various topics, most of which related directly to the crash testing. In addition, this year we held two workshops that focused on using the information obtained during the crash testing and integrating it with real-world accident reconstruction techniques. The crash testing was conducted at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and all conference presentations were held at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino.
ARC -CSI Crash Conference 2006 - June5-8, 2006
The crash tests performed for the 2006 ARC-CSI Conference largely mirrored the conference presentations including curb strikes, crashes with multiple impacts (secondary contacts were included in a momentum analysis) and significant closing speed crashes causing the "2 in three out" crash which makes finding departure angles all the more challenging. On top of that, we had not one but two crashes with full scale Class A motorhomes!! As usual, all the crashes were instrumented with lab grade accelerometers and, where appropriate roll rate and yaw rate sensors for new CDR related data.
ARC -CSI Crash Conference 2005 - June 7-10, 2005
The focus this year was on pedestrian, car-to-car crash tests, multi-vehicle crashes, child safety seats, commercial vehicle testing, event data recorders (CDR), air bag deployment and damage and energy. The crash testing was performed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and all conference presentations were held at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino.

Crash Conference 2004 - June 21-24, 2004
The focus of this year's conference will be on the relationship
between damage and energy to include crush measuring techniques
and barrier equivalencies and delta-V. The full scale crash tests
planned will benefit those in attendance by offering them an opportunity
to better recognize the differences as well as comparative similarities
between these quantities as well as offer opportunities to explore
crush measurement techniques and technologies.
ARC-CSI
Crash Conference 2003 - June 9-12, 2003
The 2003 ARC-CSI Crash Conference focused on biomechanics, car-to-car
crash tests, commercial vehicle testing, event data recorders (CDR),
airborne events, crush, NHTSA crash test data, and human surrogate
testing. The crash testing was performed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
and all conference presentations were held at the Palace Station
Hotel and Casino.

Fall: This is a video clip we received by email. It is not often
when we catch a human going over the handlebars of a motorcycle.
This is not meant to be funny, but to illustrate the dynamics of
human movement in a less-than-fortunate situation. The video
clip in not owned by the ARC Network.

Hit: This is a video clip we received by email. This video clip
shows a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. We are not sure if
this video was staged or simply "caught on tape". This is not meant
to be funny, but to illustrate the dynamics of human movement in
