The Crash Investigation Team is a support component of the Wyoming Highway Patrol. The purpose of the team is to develop internal expertise in advanced crash investigation and reconstruction techniques. They will also investigate specific motor vehicle crashes, providing in-depth analysis of the factors that are significant in crash causation and injury production.
