The Brentwood Police Department accredited in 1989 by the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies. Fifty-six (56) certified police officers are sworn to protect the citizens of Brentwood. The highly professional force uses a variety of creative programs and services to better serve the City, including Enhanced 911 Emergency Service, Neighborhood Watch, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Police/School liaison programs and an emphasis on community policing.
