Illinois State Police Technical Crash Reconstruction Officers (TCRO's) are patrol officers specially trained to investigate motor vehicle crashes involving serious injury or death. These dedicated officers serve not only the ISP but any department within the State who requests their assistance with a crash investigation. Each ISP district has their own TCRO's who are available 24 hours a day. Most officers work a normal shift on patrol in addition to their TCRO responsibilities. These officers are dedicated to their work and strive to perform at their very best with Integrity Service and Pride.

The ISP currently has close to 50 active TCRO's. A TCRO can be contacted by calling the ISP district in your area.
