The Traffic Bureau is responsible for traffic collision investigations and reconstructs all major injury and fatal traffic collisions, which occur in the 12 contract cities within the county. The Traffic Bureau also issues citations and files criminal charges related to traffic collisions including Driving Under the Influence and Vehicular Manslaughter cases. It has also been called upon to assist other county law enforcement agencies in reconstructing traffic collisions.
