MapScenes
Releases Evidence Recorder PRO 2.0 with GPS integration
September 10, 2003
Westbank, BC – MapScenes Systems releases
a significant upgrade to its industry leading data collection
program with Evidence Recorder 2.0 today. Sporting a new, easy-to-use
graphics engine, a user interface with even more capability, and
GPS communication, Evidence Recorder 2.0 pioneers GIS integration
for accident reconstruction specialists and crime scene mapping
professionals.
"Accident reconstruction professionals may
want to utilize GPS to compute a starting location. Our GPS integration
automatically plots points from GPS receivers in the Evidence
Recorder," says Susan Bracchi, MapScenes' Manager. "We
want to design leading edge technology to be fully compatible
with other developing technologies and make scene mapping that
much more efficient."
“With the recent software development, we
make evidence collection even easier, faster, and more accurate.
Our data tracking and processing methods are far superior to any
other forensic data collection systems,” says Ms. Bracchi.
Evidence Recorder
Pro 2.0 also includes advanced robotic instrument control for
faster, safer collection; true 3D graphics to simplify collection
of walls or building faces; and a sophisticated Project Manager
to explore data, control visibility, and modify the mapping library.
