A
NEW Forensic Diagramming Program Designed for ALL Levels of
Investigation

MapScenes
Systems hit the nail on the head with their recent announcement
of MapScenes LITE and Evidence Recorder LITE.
Easy
to use and specifically designed for law enforcement investigators,
the desktop product, MapScenes LITE, gives versatility a whole
new meaning. From major to minor crash or crime scene, this
evidence recording and mapping system is designed for every
level of investigator. MapScenes LITE provides a set of tools
designed for the troopers, deputies and officers who are on
the streets and highways everyday. With the tap of an icon,
MapScenes LITE shifts gears and detailed scientific tools required
by AR Specialists and Investigators appear at your fingertips.
Included in MapScenes LITE is an extensive set of formulas for
calculating speed, momentum, bloodstain patterns and other factors
relating to accidents and crimes.
True to
their commitment to accident reconstruction and investigation,
the software development team at MapScenes Systems didn't forget
about integration and end-to-end solutions for their customers.
Coining the MapScenes System phrase "from scene to screen",
Evidence Recorder LITE allows you to view the crash diagram
at the scene while entering manual measurements. This functionality
virtually eliminates the need to return to a scene to collect
missing evidence data. Evidence Recorder LITE records the evidence
while at the same time adding points and lines to the scene
drawing. The intelligent points and lines can simply be tapped
on to verify point locations and descriptions or obtain direction,
distance and grade. With spreadsheet compatible evidence logger
and voice recording, you can almost eliminate the need for a
notebook.
Designed
and built for Windows CE devices such as the Compaq iPAQ, Evidence
Recorder LITE synchronizes with the MapScenes Desktop Solution
seamlessly and automatically. The LITE Desktop Solution contains
a library of over 8000 pre-drawn crash and crime scene symbols
that are pre-scaled to display at the correct size, saving time
and guesswork. Through digital camera links, photographic evidence
can be linked directly to the scene at the point the photographs
were taken.
The MapScenes
System LITE solution makes the process of collecting evidence
and creating forensic maps faster, easier and more accurate
than any other system. MapScenes LITE and Evidence Recorder
LITE will be available early in the Fall of 2002.
From
Crash to Crime, the MapScenes System has you covered.
