| INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the
October 2003 issue of the Accident Reconstruction Newsletter. As
we approach the last couple months of the year, we have decided
to revamp the ARC Network web site. Over the past couple months
we have been working on a new look and an improved navigation system
for the web site. As you are aware, the ARC Network adds new content
to the web site daily. Because the ARC Network has added so much
information over the past 6 years, some of the sections needed to
be reworked to make information easier to find. During the next
couple of months you will see this new look emerge on the web site.
We should be completed by the end of December. We will not be removing
any information currently located in the web site, but will be adding
new material.
Another area
we will be working on is this newsletter. Over the years we have
grown the database of subscribers to over 8500! With that comes
a very difficult process each month of emailing to each person.
During the next month and a half we will be checking each email
address for accuracy. We will also be sending out a notice to resign
the ARC Network guest book. This will allow us to include the people
who want to continue to receive this newsletter each month and make
sure we have the correct email address for you.
In other news,
the ARC Network attended the October CAARS conference in Anaheim,
CA. It was a great conference. It was nice to see many of the ARC
Network members and hear feedback about our organization. The ARC
Network will be posting some video clips of the testing from that
conference later this month.
In last months
newsletter we wrote about the ARC Network
Discussion Forum. Although some used the online poll, many sent
emails to us requesting we keep the current forum the way it is.
We also saw a huge rise in the number of new registrants for the
forum and more new posts. We hope this is a continuing trend as
the discussion forum is a great communication tool for the industry.
The ARC Network
is able to operate and provide all its information through membership,
sponsorship and advertising. Please
