- About the ARC Network
Once again the ARC Network continued to grow
and we would like to thank all of you for that. We increased our
hits from 31,000 in March 1999 to over 52,000 in May 1999! In addition
the ARC Network has been receiving an incredible amount of email
requesting information and providing excellent feedback of ideas
for the site. The ARC Network will continue to provide the research
and communication tools you need and continue to grow month after
month. We have many very large plans to build a wide range of useful
tools to help each and every one of you. We truly are becoming THE
source for Accident Reconstruction on the Internet.

THE ARC NETWORK AND THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL
In the last newsletter we mentioned that The ARC Network had been
chosen to participate in a major cable television show about the
industry of Accident Reconstruction. In May we met with the filming
crew and producer and provided a staged crash test specifically
for their special. The crash test took place in California with
the help and cooperation of KARCO, a professional crash test facility.
(www.karco.com). A
special ARC Network "Thank You" goes out to KARCO for their professionalism
and cooperation. You can read the press release at www.accidentreconstruction.com/crashtest/ARC_051099.html.
You can also preview some of the pictures and preview a small
video of the crash at the following address: www.accidentreconstruction.com/crashtest/index.asp
The test included three high-speed cameras, our own video cameras
and still cameras. Additional videos and photographs will be placed
on the ARC Network when available and The Discovery Channel special,
titled "Pile-up" will be aired sometime this year. We will keep
you posted.

loads the new web site. From there you are free to navigate that
site and then go wherever you want. When you are finished browsing
or researching that link, simply click the box with the "X" located
in the upper right corner of your browser. This will close the new
browser window and take you back to where you left the ARC Network.

ABOUT THE ARC NETWORK
The ARC Network stands for Accident Reconstruction Communications
Network. We are a web-based professional organization specifically
for accident reconstruction and accident investigation. The ARC
Network was developed for the simple reason that the industry of
Accident Reconstruction needed a web site dedicated to Accident
Reconstruction communications and research. The goals of this organization
are 1.) to be the starting point and a one-stop web site for all
Accident Reconstruction needs, 2.) provide experts in this field
with a multitude of communication and research tools that aid in
the efficiency and effectiveness of daily business requirements,
and 3.) to provide other professionals that retain the services
of Accident Reconstructionists a list of qualified experts that
best fit their case. We hope that you will see the benefit of having
one Internet web site that you can visit to obtain the information
you need.
