INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the
May 2003 issue of the Accident Reconstruction Newsletter. This past
month we have been working hard ironing out all the logistics for
the upcoming ARC-CSI Crash Conference. In addition to keeping the
ARC Network up to date with the latest research information, we
have also just about finished the programming for the Sisters &
Clones database online. This database used the "Vehicle Model
Interchange List" to find vehicles that are nearly identicle.
For more information on this please read the "Sisters
& Clones Database" article in this newsletter.
In the last
month the ARC Network added over 30 new members to our organization
and is currently working on the CATAIR Ontario Region web site.
We are also on track to receive a record One Million hits
to the web site this month (May 2003)! Other projects were are working
on are the updated "Crush Stiffness Database" and the
"Online Accident Reconstruction Calculations". We hope
to have all the new programs and databases in full operation by
the end of this year (or sooner!).
There is only
about three weeks to go before the ARC-CSI Crash Conference in Las
Vegas, NV. We were not sure how the attendance would be for this
conference based on the sluggish economy and the war in Iraq. However,
we are very pleased to already have a great turnout. To date we

to be a great conference. The speakers presenting this year will
be:

- Rusty
