Unusual
Reconstructions
Proposed New Section of the ARC Network
Over the past
four years of running the ARC Network we have received hundreds
of emails requesting new sections and ideas. One of the recurring
requests is a section about unusual reconstructions. The
concept is simple, however the execution relies totally upon the
participation of YOU, the visitors and members of the ARC Network.
Here
is the proposal:
Accident Reconstructionists
and Investigators who have worked through some very unordinary
or unusual reconstructions/investigations would send the ARC Network
an overview of the case and the outcome and we (the ARC Network)
would post the information for others to review and learn from.
Obviously,
you would want to delete the names and any incriminating information,
simply focus on the evidence/facts (scenario, vehicles, formulas,
etc.) of the reconstruction/investigation.
This information
would be extremely useful for those who are new to accident reconstruction/investigation
or those who have never encountered the particular circumstances
of the case. Sometimes the obvious isn't so obvious until it's
pointed out.
If the ARC
Network receives a favorable response to this proposal and actually
receives some cases to post, the ARC will dedicate a section of
our web site to this topic. The ARC will also build in a discussion
based on each unusual case posted, so questions can be posed and
answered.
Make that
first step and get involved with making the ARC Network an even
more valuable resource for all your colleagues. Send us your unusual
reconstructions today.
This
new proposed section is completely dependent on participation
from you! If you support this idea and would like to contribute,
please contact the ARC Network.
