NEW MAPPING TECHNIQUE SAVES TIME & LIVES!

Collecting field data at an accident scene can be very time consuming and actually dangerous in some cases. When an investigator is measuring and documenting an Laser Technologyaccident scene, on coming traffic could become quite a hazard. Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI) has recognized this dilemma and therefore added a new technique called "radial with azimuth" to the already existing laser mapping system.

This new mapping technique can be preformed with the addition of a MapStar™ Angle Encoder and it allows an investigator to set up far enough away from any potential areas where they could be struck by on coming traffic. If all the data points cannot be collected from the initial set up spot, the investigator can simply traverse to a second control point and measure the remaining data needed.

Clear an accident scene 66% faster
Also, by utilizing reflectorless laser technology the investigator can collect and record vital data points without the need of an assistant holding a prism pole. LTI's proprietary QuickMap 3D field software involves fewer key presses and faster computations, which is one of the reasons why an investigator can clear an accident scene 66% faster than conventional methods.

Laser Technology, Inc. has developed perhaps
the fastest, safest, most convenient system
ever produced for the accident investigator.
