***** INTRODUCTION *****
It has now been 5 months since the initial launch of the ARC Network.
We are very excited to see such phenomenal growth. About 5000
users are logging onto the web site each month constituting over
50,000 hits per month! We also appreciate all the great feedback
we are receiving and the great suggestions as well. The team at
the ARC Network is working hard to make this the best site for research
and communications for the industry of accident reconstruction.
With your support we are becoming THE source for Accident Reconstruction
on the Internet. The ARC Network was very busy in the month of June
- lots of exciting information to talk about. We have also given
a new "look" to a few of the sections of the web site. Read on to
learn more about what's new in the ARC Network.

***** THE ARC NETWORK AND FARO *****
The
ARC Network is very pleased to announce that FARO - Forensic Accident
Reconstructionists of Oregon - has joined forces with the ARC Network
as a participating organization. The ARC Network has created a web
site for FARO and will work with them to promote
their events, membership and other areas of their business. We have
also posted their quarterly newsletter
online for all those who are interested and will continue to
post all future newsletters.
To help the members of FARO communicate the ARC Network has set
up a private discussion group. Members can log in to the discussion
group and post questions, announcements and any other information
they want.
It has been a pleasure working with FARO and look forward to helping
them with their online presence. To read more about the ARC Network
and FARO please refer to the FARO

***** SPECIAL REPORT *****
The ARC Network has posted another Special Report. This one researches
the cable car crash that occurred in the French Alps. "There are
conflicting reports as how the cable car fell. The local authorities
initially said that the cable itself had snapped. But later, it
was suggested that somehow the cabin had become detached from the
cables." For complete research on this topic please visit Special
Reports. All Special Reports can be found on the home page of
the ARC Network.
NOTE: Many of the articles located in the Special Reports point
to newspapers and other news sources. Unfortunately some of these
web sites do not keep all their articles online and they expire
after a certain amount of time. This has been the case with the
Amtrak Special Report. The ARC Network is looking for new ways to
work with these news companies to keep the information accessible
for years to come.

***** TIP OF THE MONTH *****
The Internet is becoming more advanced as time goes on and with
that many new technologies allow web site developers to incorporate
the newest multi media enhancements to their web site. Many of these
enhancements require "plug ins" that allow it to work on your computer.
Although the ARC Network tries to minimize the amount of plug ins
on our site, we offer a resources page that allows to download free
plug ins. Also in the resource section of the ARC Network is a link
to Download.com which is a very useful site to find free software
or other programs of interest. The Resource Section of the ARC Network
can be found clicking the RESOURCES link at the top of every page
or follow this link.

ABOUT THE ARC NETWORK
The ARC Network stands for Accident Reconstruction Communications
Network. We are a web-based professional organization specifically
for accident reconstruction and accident investigation. The ARC
Network was developed for the simple reason that the industry of
Accident Reconstruction needed a web site dedicated to Accident
Reconstruction communications and research. The goals of this organization
are
- to be the starting point and a one-stop web site for all Accident
Reconstruction needs
- provide experts in this field with a multitude of communication
and research tools that aid in the efficiency and effectiveness
of daily business requirements
- to provide other professionals that retain the services of Accident
Reconstructionists a list of qualified experts that best fit their
case.
We hope that you will see the benefit of having one Internet web
site that you can visit to obtain the information you need.
