| January 2004 Happy New Year! Welcome to the January 2004 issue of the Accident Reconstruction Newsletter. We are off to a great start this year. The average hits to the web site are over 40,000 per day (up from 33,000/day). We are also welcoming new members every month. The ARC Network will be launching the Equation Solver Suite in February 2004. We already have a couple formulas on a test web page and seems to be working great. Check out the article in this month's newsletter for more information and to view a sample of how it will work. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Please remember this is just a test page and has NOT been formatted to the final look and feel. The ARC Network is also working hard to make this years ARC-CSI Crash Conference the best conference yet. The focus of this year's conference will be on the relationship between damage and energy to include crush measuring techniques and barrier equivalencies and delta-V. The full scale crash tests planned will benefit those in attendance by offering them an opportunity to better recognize the differences as well as comparative similarities between these quantities as well as offer opportunities to explore crush measurement techniques and technologies. We will be using the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the crash testing (same location as last year) and the Palace Station Hotel and Casino for the speaker presentations. This month we would
like to welcome our newest advertiser Carlson
Software.
Carlson Software, Inc. announces the release of Carlson Software Investigations
(CSI™). CSI 2004 is designed to measure and map crime scenes and
traffic accidents in particular. It is an ideal product for use by city
and county police departments, State Police and consulting firms engaged
in accident reconstruction.
