Touch-Free Movement Of Vehicles In Crime Investigations

crime scene investigationsMoving vehicles undisturbed in a crime investigation has been virtually impossible until now. Famek ab, a Swedish company, is introducing a battery-operated vehicle mover, the STRINGO, to the North American market.

Even in the most cramped spaces, vehicles can be moved with ease and precision, at the touch of a button by just one person. This is accomplished without touching anything on the vehicle except the tires, keeping the car virtually undisturbed. Vehicle entry is not necessary.

The STRINGO has been marketed to the auto industry in Europe & Asia for over 10 years. It was just recently that Scotland Yard discovered its usefulness and purchased several for use in crime investigations involving autos. Now, police units in Sweden, France, Spain, and other European countries are using the STRINGO for both investigations and in their maintenance departments where vehicles are stored and moved about quite often.

Visit the manufacturer’s website at www.famek.com. Click on the British flag for the English version of the site, then, watch the short video to see the STRINGO in action.

The STRINGO is marketed in North America by Pat McKenna.
