***** PRODUCT REVIEW - VISUAL ANALYST
*****
4. Visual Analyst is the perfect tool for traffic accident
investigators, claims adjusters, lawyers. You don't have to
be an accident reconstruction expert or have any previous training.
You just select the equation you need based on what you wish
to know about the car accident. It may be stopping distance,
time to cover a specified distance, impact speed, maximum curve
speed, or any other issue.
Visual Analyst has dozens of equations to assist anybody to
find out what really happened in a car accident. It has every
equation accident investigators and Reconstructionists use so
you can quickly and easily check other peoples calculations.
The equations are displayed in a simple and easy to use format
- not in computer lingo - but as an equation you can actually
understand. Just enter the "knowns" and the "unknowns" will
appear.
It includes formulas to analyze crashes involving cars, motorcycles,
pedestrians, bicycles and large trucks. It can calculate speeds
from skid marks, yaw marks, rollovers, vaults, pedestrian/cyclist
throw distances, vehicle crush, momentum and energy.
All calculations are easily saved to a file as they are created
and can be printed out to form excellent worksheets. Just attach
these worksheets to your reports for a professional record of
your analysis. Visual Analyst comes with a great help menu to
explain the equations. It is so simple to operate there is no
learning curve! Best of all, Visual Analyst cost hundreds of
dollars less than similar programs.
It is a 32-bit program that will run on Windows 95 or higher.
Visual Analyst works great on a network and is Year 2000 compliant.

Visual Statement Inc. is also very excited to introduce a
new product called VS 2000. The release date for this software
is September 1, 1999. This new suite will include Visual Analyst
as well as perform such tasks as reconstructing the accident
scene, interviewing the witness, and generating the report.

8. Although the ARC Network tries to minimize the amount of
plug-ins on our site, we offer a resources page that allows
you to download free plug-ins. It also offers other great resources
sites. In July, we updated all the links to the various resources
and added a few new ones. In the resource section of the ARC
