Welcome to the April 2005 issue of the Accident Reconstruction Newsletter. Please see the topical links in the column to the right for this months featured articles.

Once again, most of our focus this past month has been on organizing the upcoming ARC-CSI Crash Conference. We are less than one month away and we already have more attendees registered than any of the past ARC-CSI Crash Conferences.

This past month we have also been working on adding new content to the ARC Network and updating certain areas. We are beginning the preparation of reorganizing the entire ARC Network web site. Because of the amount of new information that is added to the ARC Network on a daily basis, every couple years we need to take a look at how the users can access the data contained in this site. Our goal is to always make the data accessible in the easiest way possible.

2005 ARC-CSI Crash Conference - Less than one month away!!

Everything is now in place to make this years conference the best yet. We have increased this years conference budget to add more speaker presentations, more special events, and more testing than the past years. This is the largest crash conference the ARC-CSI group has hosted. This year we have 12 speaker presentations scheduled in addition to fully instrumented and documented crash testing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, including pedestrian crash tests and car-to-car crash tests.

As always, all data, video, and digital pictures will be provided on a 2-disc CD set and handed out at the conclusion of the conference (Friday).

At this years evening reception, Vetronix Corporation will be hosting "Tools of the Trade". During the evening reception, tables will be set up where attendees can learn more about the "tools of the trade" and what technology is available to assist in their reconstruction needs.
