ARC-CSI Crash Conference 2003
The one conference you don't want to miss!

Register by May 7 and save $200

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the April 2003 issue of the Accident Reconstruction Newsletter.

April is always a crazy month with tax-day falling right in the middle! We have been working late hours keeping up with the requests and web site. We are now focusing on the upcoming ARC-CSI Crash Conference. We want this crash conference to be the best conference anyone has ever attended. We are setting our goals to the highest standards.

We are very pleased with the speakers presenting at this year's conference as well as the topics be covered. This conference will be well worth your time. This year we have more equipment and better equipment for data collecting and distribution. We have also streamlined many tasks.

One of the biggest obstacles to overcome is the "downtime" on the actual crash day. It takes time to set up each car and ready the crash dummy for each individual test. However, this year we will be giving demonstrations during the down time. One of the repeating demonstrations will be an actual ECM download from a commercial vehicle. Other demonstrations will be commercial vehicle testing. This is all in addition to the low speed crash tests, high speed crash tests and vehicle vaults (airborne).

In addition to the main conference speakers, we will also be hosting breakout sessions you can attend. We are still forming these sessions. The ones set to go are, "NHSTA Crash Data - Problems in Obtaining and Using" and "From the Scene to the Courtroom - Creating Your Scene Diagram".

This conference will also allow you time to visit the vender rooms to learn more about the new products and services available to help you with your case work. We should have a vendor list available by the middle of May. This is also a good time to ask questions you might have if you own and use the products.

NOTE: The early registration deadline is May 7th, 2003. After that date the price of registration increases and the hotel is releasing the block of rooms on reserve at the special group rate of $49 per night. These rooms are the nicer rooms in the "Tower" section of the hotel.
