Accident Reconstruction News Article Flexpoint Preparing for U.S. Vehicles to Require Pedestrian Safety Standards DRAPER, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 2005--Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:FLXT - News) today announced they expect the new pedestrian safety standards recently mandated in Europe and Japan are likely to be required for U.S. vehicles, and industry experts agree. "Pedestrian safety is a major concern among automotive manufacturers as they are now required to meet standards for every new vehicle they sell in Europe," stated CEO of Flexpoint, Clark Mower. Mr. Kozak was asked if he thought he will eventually have to design vehicles that take pedestrian safety into account and replied, "Absolutely. I believe pedestrian safety standards are heading this way.
