(OTCBB:FLXT - News) today announced they have recently completed the current phase of internal testing of their Pedestrian Impact Detection System as requested by European and U.S. Automotive Suppliers. This fulfills a requirement and brings Flexpoint closer to consummating an agreement. Flexpoint's Pedestrian System recently completed extensive testing following protocol created by European Enhanced Vehicle-Safety Committee guidelines. The results confirmed the system is capable of distinguishing between a human leg and inanimate objects within milliseconds. Upon impact, the Bend Sensor® can trigger a safety response which may include raising the hood, lowering the engine block, or tightening the seat belt.
