| Toyota recalls 128,000 Camrys due to air bags
DETROIT, July
26 (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp. (Tokyo:7203.T - News) is recalling
more than 128,000 Camry sedans in the United States because of a
potential problem with their side curtain air bags.
The National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the problem, stemming
from improper factory assembly, could cause incomplete air bag deployment
in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injuries or deaths.
The 128,316
Camrys affected are from the 2002-2004 model years, NHTSA said.
