Our goal for this version was to increase efficiency and add more tools for customers who may not have access to a total station. Customers can now use their LTI™ or Leica Disto™ to enter measurements into Evidence Recorder 4.0. Baseline offset and trilateration routines make it easy to do calculations. New tools such as traverse intersect, triangle calculation and a full featured scientific calculator are now available at your finger tips.
Evidence Recorder 4.0 makes entering data even easier. For example, although your total station may display your data in decimal feet, you can choose to view the data in feet and inches. Enter your instrument height directly as 5 9 ½ and the program will convert it automatically. Evidence Recorder 4.0 will do this while maintaining decimal feet in the raw file.
Since everyone uses their software differently, we built in user definable keyboard shortcuts so you can personalize your copy of Evidence Recorder. For convenience, we provided a user definable button right on the mapping screen. It can be set to take care of those most-often used tasks and changed in seconds.
