of Kent Boots & Associates. Kent E. Boots, ACTAR, has 15+ years of experience in Traffic Collision Investigation and Reconstruction, 14 of which were as an on-scene investigator for a major California Sheriff's Department. He has qualified and testified numerous times as an expert in traffic collision reconstruction at trial and depositions and is a court-recognized expert in forensic mapping, total station technology, and CAD scale diagrams including 3D diagrams. He owns and operates Kent E. Boots & Associates; providing forensic mapping, scale diagramming, and consulting services to various reconstruction firms. Services Our primary focus is to provide quality Forensic Mapping Training in California and the Western United States. Our instructors are all ACTAR accredited collision reconstructionists and are certified Forensic Mapping Specialists. They also are all members of the Professional Society of Forensic Mapping. We can also provide or recommend training on CadZone, MapScenes, and Visual Statement products. Our instructors are either certified by one of these companies or have received formal training and have experience in their use. We also sell equipment such as Tripod Data Systems (TDS), data collectors and accessories, and CAD Zone software. We can also provide Forensic Mapping Services, including scale diagrams, and various other demonstrative trial exhibits.
